Idealogical Subversion, Demoralization using “Convenient Useful Idiots”

This video is just as scary as the audio I emailed yesterday.  I feel like I am living through Atlas Shrugged.

This is a video from the 80’s a defected soviet KGB agent is talking about the demoralization of society as a tactical effort to march America toward socialism. 

Favorite Quote: “never bother with leftist, forget these political prostitutes”

He references Walter Mondale so I am assuming this was filmed during the presidential race in 1984.  If you remember that year Reagan won 49 states (everyone but Minnesota where Mondale grew up). He was the VP under Jimmy Carter and established the idea of “activist Vice President” (something Dick Cheney has taken to the extreme).

Choose your candidate wisely on Tuesday - As for me I am voting for “none of the above.”

    I actually heard this man speak at a Unification Church meeting here in Salt Lake City - back in the mid-80’s. Don’t forget how old I am ;)

    I adopted his perspective on the US Presidency and use his term “useful idiots” to define what seems to be true about the way our country is run - and for a lot longer than we probably think. I have grown to also realize that we think the President has far too much power and forget about the Congress and Supreme Court (see Constitution ;). Of course, these last two terms have seen unprecedented change to our Constitution as it is. I did not know the history you mentioned about Reagan - very enlightening. We do seem to forget a lot of history after people die - sometimes it gets re-written too so no one remembers easily. We seem to want to thank FDR for “getting us out of the Great Depression - not that I know how else it could have been done - but our deficit spending is getting downright scary thanks to that introduction of economic policy.

    Anyway, the world is ending - take shelter - JK :)
