I think Apple plans on dropping the apple seed on all phones right now they are selling beta and getting really good reaction for it.
Why is the most incompetent people can't install an operating system as simple as OS X, yet can manage to get a blog exposing just how incompetent they really are?

No blue screens for me, since I always do a clean install. It takes longer but I find it to be a good way to clean things up a bit and to learn about some things about the new os. I originally went for the case-sensitive file system but Adobe didn't like that at all, so I got to watch the install video again.

Some of it's great- I can use the built in Apache and PHP now. The only wrinkly was that in the new os, there's no Netinfo Manager which was the 'right' place to enter virtual host address names to reach different development virtuals in apache. I ended up modifying the hosts file which is how I've always done it previously (ignoring the 'do not edit this file' warnings. It'd sure be nice when an app is gone if they could specify what the new workflow is. :)

Lovin' it.

Good Point - As I continue to use leopard and see how cool it is my Apple cup is now half full. It isn't running over like it was last week but I am sure it will fill up again soon.

Thanks for keeping it positive.

An archive install is a long-standing method to install an OS. Why are you considering it's inclusion a sign of Apple no longer caring? It's unfortunate that the upgrade install didn't work seamlessly for you, but an archive install is a perfectly valid and desirable way to install Leopard even if nothing had gone wrong. Personally, because I always mess with my computer and use unsupported hacks, I always perform archive installs (or erase the drive completely). I'm glad Apple makes this an obvious and not a hidden option.
